Today is the first scrutiny for the catchumen and their sponsors. This is an exciting time in the RCIA as we begin to dig a little deeper into our souls each week throughout Lent.

After dismissal is a great time to mingle with other parishioners and to get to know them. After all we are the body of Christ, and we should get to know each other. That first introduction can seem awkward, especially if you're the one reaching out, but we know you can do it!
Action Today
Introduce yourself to one person and tell them about your experience in the RCIA. It will be even easier if you are a catechumen in your brown robe, but even if you are a candidate, people will be intrigued to know what it is you do when you leave every Sunday.
