Day 9 Joseph
Joseph was the eleventh son of Jacob. He was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. He rose to become the second most powerful man in Egypt, next to Pharaoh. He was Jacob's favorite son and was Rachel's, Jacob's second wife, first son.
Two dreams lead to his brother's plotting his exile into slavery.
In the first dream his bundle of grain stands up straight, while ten bundles of grain, representing his brothers, gather around his bundle and bow to it.
In the second dream he dreamed that the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to him.
Both dreams came to pass.
